The Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi has recently begun sending the latest May 2021 Android security patch to some of its eligible smartphones. So far only a few devices have received the update while many are about to.
Right now, the OEM has rolled out this update for Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphones globally. As usual, the security update will save your phone from bugs and viruses and will improve the security of your device’s system.

Moreover, the update carries the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.3.0.RKBMIXM. The users can download the May 2021 security update for their Mi 11 in approx 5.9GB of data. Since this is more than 1GB, we suggest, download and install it with an unmetered connection or Wi-Fi.
