Earlier this month, Clubhouse, the invite-only social networking app finally made its availability for Android users. In the beginning, it was only available to download in the US. But today, the company officially announced that the application is live across the globe.
The Clubhouse Android App is available for download through the Google PlayStore and is compatible with devices running Android 8.0 and following. However, the application is still based on the waiting list and invitation system. Thus, new users need an invite, probably from one of their iOS-using friends or an existing user.

Earlier this month, the founders of the clubhouse stated that only the invitation model is designed to measure growth. Moreover, the company is planning to bring millions more from the iOS waitlist, expand language support and add more accessibility features to the app.

Besides, the application was first introduced in March 2020 for iOS users. It is an audio-only social media app that hosts virtual rooms for live discussions, with opportunities for individuals to participate through speaking and listening.
