New MIUI 12.5 beta update fixes lock screen face recognition issue

Xiaomi is releasing a new MIUI 12.5 beta update in China. The new update which carries the build version 21.5.17 brings some interesting functions as well as bug fixes.

As per the changelog, it adds whether fingerprint recognition is applied to the lock screen switch. It further fixes the problem that the face password page cannot be entered occasionally.

The company even mentions some suitable models for the update, Mi 9 Pro 5G, Redmi K30, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10S, Mi 11, Redmi K30S Ultra, Redmi K40, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, and Redmi K30 Ultra.

Other than this, due to the problem that the Notes App disappears under certain scenarios, the test results of all models will be released later. And because of the problem of being unusable in certain scenarios, Redmi K20 Pro is temporarily suspended today.
