Earlier in March, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10S smartphones in global markets. However, recently the company has confirmed that it will be launched in India on May 13.
Meanwhile, ahead of the launch, the device is receiving the first software update, which means that Redmi Note 10S buyers will get a new update just after the purchase. Well, the official changelog doesn’t mention any major changes, it only shows system improvements.

Whereas the firmware holds the build version V12.5.2.0.RKLINXM and this is most noticeable as it mentions MIUI version 12.5. We all know that Xiaomi hasn’t released the new generation of its custom skin, MIUI 12.5 in India.
Previously we’ve heard rumors that Redmi Note 10S will come pre-installed with the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 operating system in the country and now the rumor has come true. The Note 10S will arrive with MIUI 12.5 and will become the second Xiaomi phone to run MIUI 12.5 out of the box, Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition (China) was the first.
