Launched back in February 2019, Xiaomi Mi 9 comes with a slightly high price tag, a classic design, and high-end features. It has an amazing camera and battery backup. Its display lets the user enjoy every video and game.
In terms of software, the device entered the smartphone market with pre-installed Android 9 (Pie) but is now running on Android 10 based MIUI 12. Also, it is likely to receive an Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 update soon.

Meanwhile, as of now, Xiaomi Mi 9 is receiving the Android security patch for the month of April. This security update will save your device from bugs and viruses and will improve the security of your device’s system.
Aside from this, the new update can be identified via the Android 10 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.5.0.QFAEUXM. And, to experience it, Mi 9 users will have to download and install the package of 3.2GB on their handsets.
