This is your very first look at Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone with Thunderbolt design camera setup and UDC tech

Xiaomi has recently released a bunch of new smartphones and is now preparing to release more phones such as Mi Mix 4. The device is said to equip the company’s first under-display camera technology and it could be launched in the second half of this year.

Moreover, a few days ago, Xiaomi patents a new smartphone with a thunderbolt camera design, which also seems to have an under-display camera technology. Meanwhile, going by the new information, we now have a render of this fresh design.

The render that has been published by a reliable concept creator HoiINDI shows both, front and back sides of the phone. Looking at the images, the next Xiaomi phone could feature a large flat-screen display similar to the Apple iPhone 12 series.

As mentioned above, the phone seems to equip under-display camera technology, therefore, the front side of the phone neither has a notch nor a punch-hole camera.

The back of the phone is also designed uniquely, its camera lenses are arranged in a way that looks like a kind of thunderbolt (lightning bolt). There are three cameras with a flash.

At the bottom, this handset has a sim tray, USB Type-C port, and a secondary speaker. Whereas on the top side, there’s an IR blaster. The right side offers a power button as well as volume rockers for volume control.

Besides, as these renders are based on the patent design filed by Xiaomi, it’s not confirmed whether the company will develop this phone or not. If the patent that the company has showcased is real then it would be quite interesting to see such unique technology.

More information on this matter has to arrive and as soon as we receive some new data, we’ll make sure to update you. Till then stay tuned with us. Also, thanks to @HoiNDI, for this amazing render.
