Back in August 2020, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi added a new smartphone in its Redmi 9 series which is Redmi 9 Prime. The phone arrived with an Android 10 based MIUI 11 operating system, later received MIUI 12.
Meanwhile, now the OEM has started rolling out new software for this device in India. The latest firmware mainly installs the March 2021 Android security patch for better system security. It also saves your handset from bugs and viruses.
