Xiaomi’s 2021 new product launch event will be held on March 29

Last week, two sub-brands of Xiaomi has set the launch date for their upcoming new smartphones. Meanwhile now, Xiaomi itself has announced that it will be hosting a global launch event on March 29.

However, the company hasn’t disclosed the names of the products. While they said, “this is one launch you really better not miss”. Also, the event will start at 19:30 (GMT+8) on March 29 and will be live-streamed on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Mi.com.

Moreover, a few days ago, a leak suggested that Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra/Pro+ will be launched on March 29. Therefore we can expect these smartphones to be introduced at the events.

Adding to this, there is also a possibility that the company could announce Mi Notebook Pro and Mi Smart Band 6. Mi Notebook Pro is in rumors for a few days, the company has been teasing it regularly.

On the other hand, right now, we do not have any information about the Mi Smart band 6 but it is said to be uncovered at the same event.

Mi Notebook Pro

Just a couple of days ago, Xiaomi officially unveiled that the upcoming Mi laptop is a high-end masterpiece and it will have a thin design. Adding to this, the device with model number TIMI TM2021 has recently appeared at Geekbench. The listing reveals that the upcoming laptop is powered by an i7-11370H processor.

The Geekbech report also tells that the Mi Notebook Pro is furnished with Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti, 2560 stream processors, and 4GB of video memory.

Mi 11 Pro

It has been reported that Mi 11 Pro may feature a 67W wireless fast charge and could be packed with a 5000mAh battery dual cell solution. Reports also claim that the  Xiaomi 11 Pro’s fast charging technology could be upgraded and it is expected to support 200W fast charging.

On the other side, the screen parameters of Mi 11 Pro are exactly the same as Mi 11. It will be equipped with a 6.81-inch 2K quad-curved display which supports a 120Hz refresh rate, a 480Hz touch sampling Display with DCI-P3 color gamut, peak brightness up to 1500nit.

Mi 11 Ultra/Pro+

Old reports claim that Mi 11 Ultra could have a triple rear camera setup with a tiny display. The smart screen on the right side of the camera module seems to be added for snapping top-notch selfies using the rear cameras.

Furthermore, the specific rear lens parameters are a 50MP main camera, a 48MP wide-angle camera, and a 48MP zoom lens. It may run MIUI 12.5 out of the box and its 5000mAh battery could support 67W wired fast charging, 67W wireless fast charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
