Xiaomi releases second batch device list for MIUI Global beta testers recruitment

Back in December 2020, Xiaomi officially announced the new version of its Android skin, MIUI 12.5. Soon after the launch, the company started pushing closed beta builds of MIUI 12.5 to selected Mi and Redmi smartphones in its home country.

The Chinese OEM has now released this new version in international markets too. Alike every year, the company breaks efforts between the domestic and global update policies. According to the company’s plan, if you don’t have a premium category smartphone, then you’ve to wait for a little before the platform update hits your device.

Moreover, in early February 2021, Xiaomi has published the first batch for MIUI Global beta testers recruitment for its eligible smartphones. The list includes both, mid-rangers and premium phones.

Meanwhile now, the company released the second batch device list for MIUI Global beta testers recruitment. However, we cannot clarify whether this group of users will test MIUI 12.5 update globally or not.

Applicant’s age should be 18/18+ years.
Backup your data before updating.
Candidates should be using the eligible smartphone, the list is mentioned below.
The phone should be logged in with the same ID which user has filled in the recruitment form.

How to check for the MIUI ROM version

Go to “Settings > About phone” to check the version. The character displays：

“MI” means Global Version-11.X.X.X(***MI**)
“IN” means Indian Version-11.X.X.X(***IN**)
“EU” means Europe Version-11.X.X.X(***EU**)
“RU” means Russian Version-11.X.X.X(***RU**)
“ID” means Indonesian Version-11.X.X.X(***ID**)
