Just recently, Xiaomi has started to roll out the first software update for Redmi K40 smartphones in China. Meanwhile now the company is sending the new update for its Pro model, Redmi K40 Pro.
The smartphones were released on February 25 and went on first sale today. The products gained huge success that soon after the sale began, the company confirmed that it sold 300,000 units of the Redmi K40 series.

Similar to the Redmi K40 update, the Redmi K40 Pro update also optimizes the system performance for users’ experience enhancement. It further improves the security and stability of your device’s system.
Moreover, the latest update for the device can be identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12 build version V12.0.3.0.RKKCNXM. And, to install this, users will have to download the package of 3.8GB on their respective K40 Pro handsets.
