Upcoming Redmi Note 10 lineup will feature 108MP camera sensor

The launch of the Redmi Note 10 series is just a week far. Ahead of its official announcement, we already have known a lot about smartphones. However, there no official confirmation but the series is reportedly having four variants – Redmi Note 10 4G/5G, Redmi Note 10 Pro 4G/5G. Some leaks also suggest Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.

Yesterday we have seen the leaked hands-on video of the base model Redmi Note 10. The video exposes the camera module, AMOLED display, Android 11, Always-On-display feature, and more.

Meanwhile, the company has now officially confirmed that the upcoming Redmi Note 10 series will feature a 108-megapixel camera. Redmi India shared the development across Twitter.

Though, it remains unclear whether the camera specification is limited to one smartphone or multiple devices in the upcoming series.

Moving forward, at the beginning of this year, the Mi 10i 5G launched with the 108MP rear camera, and the newly introduced Redmi K40 Pro+ also equips with a 108MP camera sensor.

Therefore now, it seems that 108MP has finally issued to the budget devices, which should be the top-end version of the Redmi Note 10 series.

Besides, previously, the company has teased some of the Redmi Note 10 series features. According to that, instead of MediaTek, the smartphones will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile platform.

Earlier, the rumors about the processor claim that the 4G version will be equipped with Snapdragon 720G chipset, while the rumored 5G version will be equipped with Snapdragon 750G.

Although we are not sure if the performance designs of both are the same, there should be at least one. The non-Pro Redmi Note 10 may have an IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the Pro model may have an AMOLED display.

It is also said that Redmi Note 10 could be a rebranding of last year’s Redmi 10X 5G. The smartphone was introduced in May 2021 and is only available in China for now.
