Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G set a record sales of 200 crore rupees (US$27 million) when it first sold in India

According to the latest information, Xiaomi India announced that its newly launched Mi 10i 5G has achieved a record sales value of 200 crores Indian rupees (approximately 27 million US Dollars) in its first public sale across multiple platforms in India.

From the Chinese technology giant, the Mi 10 is the company’s first smartphone with a 108-megapixel camera and Snapdragon 750G processor supported by Qualcomm’s 5G.

The Mi 10i went on sale for the first time on Amazon India for Prime Members on 7 January 2021 and started on 8 January 2021 on all Mi India retail channels, including its official website, Mi Homes and Mi Studios.

According to the company’s official press release, more than 1.5 million users chose to keep the sales notice.

Xiaomi Mi 10i has launched two variants, including two iterations of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and three versions of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configurations. In general, this means that all five models are the five highest-selling products in all categories of Amazon India after they are released. Manu Jain, Managing Director of Xiaomi India, said:

“We are truly overwhelmed with the love and response received from our Mi fans and consumers for Mi 10i. INR 200 Crore worth of sales within 1st sale is a major milestone and we are happy to announce that. Mi brand aims to bring the latest and the best technology to our Mi Fans.”

Speaking of the device itself, Mi 10i is equipped with ISOCELL HM2 108MP camera and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC. This means that the device is ready for 5G and can even provide a high refresh rate of 120Hz on its Intelligent AdaptiveSync display.

In addition, this phone also supports ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) local navigation system, NavIC integration, and built-in 4820mAh battery, supporting up to 33W fast charging.
