Xiaomi Mi 11 teardown shows easy repairs of display and other components

The world’s first phone to take advantage of the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform is the Xiaomi Mi 11 – launched back in December last year for the Chinese market and has just debuted for global markets.

Just recently, we have seen JerryRigEverything test the durability of the Xiaomi Mi 11. The test video includes three tests, scratches, burns, and bending, overall, the Mi 11 performed well in all tests.

Meanwhile now, the company officially shared a video that aimed to prove that the newly launched flagship is relatively easy to repair. In the video, a Xiaomi employee is tearing down the device to show that its disassembling is not too difficult.

The video shows that the phone’s battery can be easily removed. It is great considering when various OEMs tend to enhance it with the amount of glue they use for the battery.

Moreover, the display features a curved edge, which is also easy to remove. In the video, the company also highlighted features of the Mi 11, so you’ll see some of that too.

In case you’re interested, the 8GB + 128GB variant of Mi 11 is priced at €749 (US$ 900 / Rs. 65,705 approx) in global markets and RMB 3,999 (Rs 45,000) in its home country. Adding to this, the 8GB + 256GB variant costs €799 (US$ 960 / Rs. 70,105 approx) in global markets and RMB 4,699 (Rs 52,900)  in home country.
