Xiaomi is expanding the latest update which carries the January 2021 Android security patch for Redmi Note 8T users in Globe and Russia. This security patch is rolling out to improve system security.
It brings the Android 10 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.3.0.QCXRUXM, and to install it, users will have to download the package of 2.3GB on their handsets.

Back in November 2019, Xiaomi-s sub-brand, Redmi uncovered its Redmi Note 8T smartphones. It is a power-packed smartphone that has an array of premium features like fast charging and a splashproof body.
The configuration is also good, its cameras can click magnificent images. It is equipped with massive storage that assurest to save ample files and documents in it. However, the only drawback of the device is the heavyweight body.
For now, the device is receiving the latest software update which installs the January 2021 Android security patch to increase system security. It brings the MIUI 12 version V12.0.2.0.QCXEUXM and can be download in 2.3GB.
Currently, the update is based on Android 10 but as the device is eligible to receive the Android 11 update, it will soon be updated to Android 11. Also, this newest update is only accessible for Europeans now, may soon be followed by more region users in the coming days/hours.
