It comes pre-installed with Android 10 based MIUI 12, while the company is now preparing for the open-beta roll out of the Android 11 update for Redmi Note 9 4G. Also, the Redmi Note 9 4G is eligible to receive the latest MIUI version – MIUI 12.5.
For now, the device is receiving a new firmware update in China which carries the MIUI 12 updated version V12.0.10.0.QJQCNXM. This new update optimizes system performance to enhance users’ experience.
