We have already heard several news and leaks about the upcoming Redmi 9T. The device is said to be a rebranding of the Redmi Note 9 4G smartphone which has recently launched in China. Now the latest news claims that this Redmi 9T may launch on January 8.

As per a known tipster – @chunvn8888, he has been reported by a famous reviewer that January 8 is confirmed as the launch date for the upcoming Redmi 9T.
Furthermore, a couple of days ago, Xiaomi Malaysia announces a giveaway of the new Redmi smartphone’s 10 units. Xiaomi Malaysia has also, posted giveaway information which indicates that the Redmi 9T is launching soon.
Other than this, as the future Redmi 9T is a rebranding of Redmi Note 9 4G (China) and Redmi 9 Power (India), we can expect it to have almost similar features and specs. The Redmi 9T should come with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ IPS display, a Snapdragon 662 processor, and a large 6,000mAh battery.
Its quad-camera setup may include a 48MP Primary Camera, 8MP Ultra-Wide angle sensor, 2MP Depth sensor, and another 2MP Macro sensor. On the other hand, it could feature an 8MP front-facing camera.
