Just recently, Xiaomi has confirmed that MIUI 12.5 will release on December 28 alongside Mi 11 series. A piece of new news suggests that the company has started MIUI 12.5 beta testing in China.
We have also reported that Xiaomi Mi 11 will not come with MIUI 12.5 but it will only run Android 11 based MIUI 12 out of the box. While some eligible Xiaomi devices can register for the MIUI 12.5 early access.

- One account can only obtain and use one application code, please choose your phone model carefully.

- Due to a large number of applicants, it may be temporarily unable to download or update, please try later.
- MIUI 12.5 release plan will be updated after the press conference, so stay tuned.
Steps to join the MIUI 12.5 Early Access Program:
- Follow [MIUI] on WeChat search, follow MIUI’s WeChat official account, and click “Early Fresh Experience” below to participate in registration;
- Follow the on-screen prompts to obtain the application link, fill in the application code, model, and other information, and submit the application;
- Friends who have successfully passed the review can experience the new version after the press conference;
(PS: The application for Early Access is the development version of the system, which does not rule out instability, and there is a certain probability that it will not pass the review) - Upgrade the system to the new version according to the tutorial on the upgrade page.
