MIUI 13 Always on Display (AOD) preview shows new notification animations

Xiaomi has recently begun rolling out a new update for its Always-on Display (AOD). The update mainly brings new notification animations for MIUI users. As mentioned in the changelog, the animation name – Rhythm is renamed Pulse (Blue).

In addition, another that is Pulse is renamed to Pulse (Red). The preview of these animations has been changed as well, reported by xiaomiui. You can check the first preview of these new notification animations below.

As we know that MIUI 13 is about to hit the markets, ahead of a launch, the Chinese tech giant is testing its features and changes through the MIUI 12.5 beta updates or other application updates. The latest AOD update purposes the same, it is also testing MIUI 13 changes.

What is AOD?

The main features are ambient settings and additional features that you put on the display while the screen is off. In a normal phone, you can add the time, calendar, weather, and other widgets. However, you must press the power button to activate the display.

In addition, this app makes the display is always in standby mode as if you reduce the brightness into the dark. With this, the main display will awake to be ready anytime.

Unfortunately, not every smartphone user can have the advantages of this amazing feature. It only works on smartphones with AMOLED displays.
