While Android 13 is almost near, the latest information from the Xiaomi community reveals that the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Redmi K50G have started rolling out the recruitment of new MIUI versions based on Android 13.
Users who are already in the public beta of the development version can visit the Community Internal Testing Center-Development Applications for the Public Beta channel.
As per Xiaomi, with MIUI based on Android 13, MIUI will focus on two versions, the “Development version” and the “Official version”. Among them, the MIUI development version will be updated weekly, and the official version will be released and updated according to the user’s use.
The development version and the official version will gradually realize the switching between versions without clearing the data. However, it should be noted that due to the major version upgrade of Android, the new version may have strong instability, and the number of users admitted this time is less.
According to a Previous report, Google held the I/O event for the Android 13 developer update for various flagship devices. In this event, the Android 13 DP2 version was released for the new generation Xiaomi devices such as Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Redmi K50 Pro, and Xiaomi Pad 5.
