From them, Xiaomi 12S Ultra is the outstanding flagship model priced at 5,999 yuan. So, here we are talking about Xiaomi 12S Ultra hardware production cost.
BoM cost analyses revealed the information about the Xiaomi 12S Ultra hardware production cost. The production cost of the 8 GB+256 GB variant of the flagship model is about US$516. This cost includes the processor, screen, camera, and memory storage for about 67% of the total cost.
Peculiarly, the processor costs $128, the screen costs $89, the camera costs $79, the memory costs $58, and the cost of the Cellular RF system is $24. Note that this cost does not include R&D design, warehousing, and logistics costs.
To compare, the 128GB version of the iPhone 12 BoM analysis costs $415, which is slightly less than the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, and the Xiaomi 12S Ultra costs around RMB 700 more.
