Xiaomi has already started delivering the monthly security patch to its eligible devices. Now, the company has begun rolling out March 2022 security patch to older Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphone users. It is currently released in Russia and is expected to reach more users in the coming days or weeks.
The software update for Redmi Note 9 Pro comes with a build number V12.5.4.0.RJZRUXM is based on Android 11. If users didn’t get the OTA release, then attempt to download a package of about 2.5 GB manually via the below link.
Going to the changelog, the monthly security update improves the system security and fixes some bugs that affect users’ experience. However. this update doesn’t bring any new features or changes, it is worth installing.
