Xiaomi has started sending a new monthly update for the Redmi 9 smartphone users. This update installs the Android security patch for the month of April 2022.
Redmi 9 brings a monthly security update that improves system security and stability for a better users experience and fixes the bugs for improving the system performance of the device.

At the moment, Redmi 9 is receiving a new update with build number
V12.5.5.0.RJCMIXM and users will have to download 2.2 GB of software package size. It is currently released in the global market and is expected to release in other regions in a few days and weeks.
