Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 9 has started collecting a new software update, which primarily installs the March 2022 Android security patch. The update is currently rolled out for Global ROM users but it is expected to roll out for all users in the coming days.
Coming to the changelog, the security patch update improved the security of the system. On the other hand, it doesn’t mention any new features. Also, you may notice any improvements.
The March 2022 security update comes with Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.4.0.RJOMIXM and package size of 2.2GB. That’s why we recommend you download it using Wi-Fi

- Open your Setting application.
- Scroll for About phone.
- Select the MIUI version.
- Click to Check for Updates.
- Click on Download (wait for downloading).
- Then Install and Reboot your Phone
