Xiaomi launched pre-research technology of ‘small sense volume + magnetic absorption’

Since the launch of Xiaomi’s first wireless charging mobile phone in 2018, Xiaomi has been committed to promoting the development of wireless charging technology. Xiaomi announced that it has brought you a “small sense + magnetic absorption” wireless charging pre-research technology.

The magnetic absorption wireless charging power can reach up to 50W, and the loss is reduced by 50%, realizing a “revolutionary wireless charging experience”.

The technology includes two charging products – a Xiaomi ultra-thin magnetic wireless charger (30W) and a Xiaomi active cooling magnetic wireless charger (50W). Neither product has announced prices or sales information, and it is estimated that it will be announced later.

  • Xiaomi ultra-thin magnetic wireless charging: 30W power, 5000mAh battery is fully charged in 86 minutes;

  • Xiaomi Active Cooling Magnetic Wireless Charging: Taking into account both heat dissipation and magnetic charging, the surface temperature can be reduced by 20°C in 1 minute, 50W power, and a 5000mAh battery can be fully charged in 49 minutes.

In 2021, Xiaomi has launched two self-developed chips, the Surging C1, and the Surging P1. Among them, Surging C1 is Xiaomi’s first professional imaging chip, and Surging P1 is Xiaomi’s first self-developed charging chip.

Moreover, Digital blogger Digital Chat Station previously broke the news that more than one new flagship of Xiaomi is equipped with “image + charging” surging dual-core, which is being polished.

At present, the name of Xiaomi’s new flagship equipped with the “image + charging” surging dual-core is not clear. Xiaomi 12 Pro is the first smartphone equipped with Surging P1, which supports wired 120W Surging second charging, 50W wireless second charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging. The new flagships that are being polished are expected to have similar specs.

Furthermore, Xiaomi previously stated that the Pengpai P1, as the industry’s first resonant charging chip, has a 4:1 ultra-high-efficiency architecture with an adaptive switching frequency. The resonant topology efficiency is as high as 97.5%, the non-resonant topology efficiency is 96.8%, and the thermal Losses plummeted by 30%.

In addition, the Surging C1 has a dual filter configuration, which can realize parallel processing of high and low-frequency signals, and the signal processing efficiency is increased by 100%. With the self-developed algorithm, it can greatly improve the 3A of the image (autofocus AF, white balance AWB, auto exposure AE) performance.
