Xiaomi’s mobile phone shipments in Chinese market reached 50.5 million units in 2021: Canalys

According to Canalys analysis, this is due to the rising popularity of Xiaomi’s new flagship products. This is a great achievement of the new Xiaomi 12 series. On the whole, Canalys’s analysis believes that the smartphone market in mainland China has experienced a year of ups and downs in 2021. After the turbulence, the fourth quarter of 2021 will be delivered at a year-on-year growth rate of 3%, with shipments reaching 86.6 million units.

The annual shipment exceeded 333 million units, a slight increase of 1% year-on-year, but compared with the market in 2019 before the epidemic, it still shrank by more than 10%. In the context of the shrinking market, Xiaomi’s market share in China in 2021 will account for 15%, compared with a net increase of 3 percentage points in 2020, and the market share will further expand.
