Xiaomi introduces its Smart Glasses Explorer Edition

Earlier this morning, Xiaomi officially unveiled Xiaomi Smart Glasses Explorer Edition. These glasses look similar to ordinary glasses but have a magical experience. The manufacturers used innovative MicroLED light guide technology to make smart glasses truly miniaturized.

The company claims that the optical wavelength technology will carry the image from the MicroLED to the eye. Moreover, besides being a second screen for smartphones, they can also deliver important messages to their wearer thanks to its XiaoAI assistant.

The navigation capability of the device can display maps and directions before your eyes. It can also show you the number of callers currently on your phone, and you can take calls using the smart glasses’ built-in mic and speaker.

That mic will also be able to pick up speech, which Xiaomi’s proprietary translation algorithm can translate in real-time. The glasses’ translation feature also works on written text and captures text on photos through its camera.
