Later in May this year, Xiaomi introduced its two new chargers, which are 200W wired and 120W wireless HyperCharge technology. The company claims that the 200W wired charging technology can charge a smartphone to 100% in just 8 minutes whereas the 120W charger can charge it in 15 minutes.
However, at that time, the officials didn’t disclose the mass production period of these two fast chargers. Meanwhile, a recent report hints at Xiaomi’s plans for this technology.

Going by the latest report, the 200W fast charge of Xiaomi will make its debut somewhere in June next year. It seems that this charger will be mass-produced around the launch of the Mi 12 series.

Xiaomi 200W Wired Fast Charging Solution
This is the first time when wired charging has entered the 10 minute era and wireless charging has broken the one-hundred-watt mark. At the time of the launch, the officials also mentioned that the 200W wired charging solution by Xiaomi can charge a 4,000mAh battery to 50% capacity in just 3 minutes. And it takes 8 minutes to gain 100% battery.
On the other hand, the 120W wireless charging can charge a 4,000mAh battery to 10% in just 1 minute, 50% in 7 minutes, and as mentioned above, 100% in only 15 minutes.
