Xiaomi has kicked off a new MIUI 12.5 beta update for Mi and Redmi smartphones in its home country. The new update that can be identified via the build version 21.7.9 brings a couple of bug fixes for the status bar and notification bar.
As per the changelog, it fixes the issue of screen lighting and ringing when unimportant notifications arrive. In addition, it has a fix for the exception of occasional transparency and Gaussian blur in the notification center.

Previously, the beta update arrived with the built version 21.7.9, which improved the Mi Music app. It added the ability to report the source of exceptions such as crashes in the Mi Music app. Also, it fixed the crash caused by the conflict between the song MV codec and the system.
