Xiaomi has kicked off a new software update for Redmi Note 10 Pro smartphones globally. This new update fixes several Status bar and Notification shade bugs that users were complaining about for the last few weeks.
As per the changelog, it fixes the lock screen notification animations froze issue that occurs after the device was unlocked using face data and notification flash problem that takes place in barely some cases.

It further comes with the solution for the difficulty that floating notifications weren’t displayed correctly in landscape mode and the notification badges weren’t updated for incoming notifications on a locked device.
Update version:
The new firmware update for the popular Redmi Note 10 Pro can be identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.4.0.RKFMIXM. It will be downloaded and installed in more than 1.0GB of data, therefore, users should use an unmetered connection to download it.
It should be mentioned that the recent update is currently only accessible for Mi Pilot Testers. However, the company could release its wider rollout in the coming days or weeks.
