Xiaomi has begun sending a new MIUI 12.5 beta update in China. This new update comes with some fixes, optimization, and new features for a better user experience.
As per the changelog, it fixes the problem that the phone restarts after opening the small window in the horizontal screen. It also mentions the fix for the exception that sometimes notifications such as alarm clock reminders are not displayed.
JOIN XIAOMI ON TELEGRAM
Adding to this, the fresh beta update adds support for voice wake-up when the phone is on the screen. After recording the wake-up word “Little Ai”, Xiao Ai can recognize your voice and only respond to your instructions.
The update log also explains that the new support is currently applicable for Redmi Note 9 4G smartphones while the notification is adapted by Mi 11, Redmi K30S Ultra, Xiaomi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, and Redmi K30 Pro.
