Xiaomi Mi 9 gets Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 update

Launched back in February 2019, Xiaomi Mi 9 comes with a slightly high price tag, a classic design, and high-end features. It has an amazing camera and battery backup. Its display lets the user enjoy every video and game.

When we talk about its software, it entered the smartphone market with pre-installed Android 9 (Pie) OS. While now Xiaomi is rolling out an Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 update for it. However, the update is currently in a stable beta phase, thus, it is not available for all Mi 9 smartphone users.

Moreover, identified via build no. V12.5.3.0.RFACNXM, the latest software update weighs 2.8GB. Therefore we suggest, use an unmetered connection or WiFi to download and install it. Now let’s take a look at the changelog;
