Later in March this year, Xiaomi crowdfunded the Mi Power Bank Boost Pro 30000mAh in India. The crowdfunding ran for 15 days. The company had a modest goal of only 5,000 units but during the crowdfunding period, 6393 people funded the project and 6178 people supported it.
It’s been almost a couple of months and the battery pack is finally up for sale in the country. Interested viewers can now purchase it from either Mi.com, Flipkart, Mi Home stores, or partner offline retailers for Rs. 2,299.

The power bank is only priced at ₹1,999 ($28) for the supporters. The company even shipped the product to those who funded it from May 15. More than a week later, the power bank can be now bought by anyone for its original price – Rs. 2,299 ($32).
As the name suggests, the newly launched Xiaomi Power Bank in India comes with a 30,000mAh capacity, which supports up to 18W output and 24W input. It should be noted that it relies on USB PD (Power Delivery) 3.0, therefore, it is compatible with almost all devices.
The device has a total of four ports – two USB Type-A ports (output only), a MicroUSB port(input only), and a USB Type-C port (input & output). Similar to other Xiaomi power banks, it also has low power charging mode for accessories like fitness trackers, smartwatches, TWS, and more.
Unluckily, besides sporting a USB Type-C port, it will ship with a MicroUSB cable. Lastly, the product comes in a single black color option and features 16-layer protection.
