Xiaomi ranks 222th among Forbes Global Listed Companies

The foreign “Forbes” is a global media company that focuses on business, investing, technology, entrepreneurship, leadership, and lifestyle. Forbes’s list is created based on the four major metrics of sales, profits, assets, and market value.

Each year, the world’s 2,000 listed companies with the highest market value are selected. And, the company has recently released the 2021 “Global Listed Companies 2000” ranking (Forbes Global 2000).

According to the report, Xiaomi ranked 222th, which is up 162 places from last year’s ranking. Going by Forbes’ statistics, in 2020, Xiaomi’s turnover was 35.7 billion U.S. dollars, and its net profit was 3 billion U.S. dollars.

The financial report shows that the total income of Xiaomi Group in 2020 reached RMB 245.9 billion, a year-on-year increase of 19.4%. The global smartphone shipments reached 146.4 million units throughout the year, a year-on-year increase of 17.5%.

According to previous practices, among the 2021 Forbes Global 2000, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China ranked first and they are ranking first for nine consecutive years. Apple ranked sixth and Samsung Electronics ranked 11th. In addition, Facebook ranks 33, Sony ranks 35, and Intel ranks 36. Kuaishou entered the list for the first time, ranking 1125th.
