New Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro update carries dark mode, control center and other improvements

In February 2020, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro entered the smartphone market with a pre-installed Android 10 based MIUI 11 operating system. Later, it received two major updates and is currently running on Android 11 based MIUI 12 OS.

Now, Xiaomi has kicked off a new software update for Mi 10 Pro smartphones in Europe. The new update brings a bunch of changes to the smartphone. After you update your device, you will notice that the full-screen gestures are ignored on the Lock screen alarm page.

It further adds an option that allows you to restrict opening the Control center while on the Lock screen and switch between connected devices in the notification about media playback. For further information, you can check the complete changelog below.

The new firmware for Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro can be identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12 version V12.2.7.0.RJAEUXM. Users will have to download and install the package of 3.1GB on their smartphones to experience it.
