Xiaomi’s sub-brand Black Shark is one of the biggest gaming smartphone makers. The brand has recently launched two new smartphone – Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro. Now the company is planning to release the fist Redmi gaming phone.
Xiaomi has already confessed that the phone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset and will be introduced this year. Meanwhile, the new information claims that upcoming Redmi phone will support 65W ultra-fast charge.

The information have been leaked by a Wibo blogger, Super Leo. As per the previous practices, this will be the first Redmi phone to support this charging protocol and also the fastest charging Redmi smartphone.
He also exposed some other details we already know such as a Samsung E4 AMOLED screen with a centered punch hole and a 5000mAh battery capacity. He said that the Redmi gaming smartphone will likely have a ¥2000 (~$305) starting price. There is still a lot we do not know about the phone but more details should surface as its release date draws closer.
Adding to this, as per some previous reports, the Redmi gaming phone may also add a game shoulder button similar to the Black Shark phone. Reports reveal that the device could be sporting a quad-camera system led by a Sony IMX686 primary camera.
For those outside China who look forward to its global release, it has been reported that it may arrive under the POCO brand much like how the Redmi K40 is sold as the POCO F3 outside China.
