Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco is set to launch the Global variant of Redmi K40 – Poco F3 smartphones today at 20:00. Just recently, we have seen the official renders of this smartphone, the image shows a very similar design to the original model.
Meanwhile, ahead of the launch, the Chinese OEM has begun sending the first software update for this smartphone. This means that the Poco F3 buyers will get the update just after the purchase.

Moreover, the first software update for the phone optimizes the system performance as well as improves system security and stability. Also, it can be identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.1.0.RKHEUXM.

Poco F3 Specification (based on Redmi K40)
The Poco F3 will come pre-installed with the Android 11 based MIUI 12 operating system, as it received the first update based on Android 11. It will display a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and equips Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset.
In terms of camera configuration, the Poco F3 will feature a 48MP AI triple camera system at the back that includes a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 5MP macro lens. There will be a 20MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats.
On the other hand, the product will be packed with a 4,520mAh battery that supports 33W fast-charging. The recently leaked official render shows three color variants – Black, White, and Blue.
