The Chinese brand Xiaomi is selling its smart TVs in India with the Mi branding since 2018, this is the first time when the company is announcing a TV under the Redmi branding.

Moreover, the teaser poster says “the XL Experience”, which suggests a large-screen TV. The Chinese tech giant has already introduced 65 inches Mi smart TV series in the country.
The Redmi TV may come with a 70-inch screen size but the company could even launch an 80-inch model which was recently unveiled in China. Although it remains to be seen what size of Xiaomi TV is going to be uncovered.
Other than this, it is said that the smart TV has been made in India, hinted by Xiaomi India Smart TV head Eshwar Nilakantan. Also, for the manufacture of the Mi smart TVs, Xiaomi India is working with Dixon. The company is also expected to build Redmi TVs.
