Redmi Note 10 5G could be launched under POCO brand in India

On March 4, the Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi officially uncovered the Redmi Note 10 series smartphones globally and in India. However, there are some differences in the models in these regions.

The lineup in Global markets covers Redmi Note 10 5G and Redmi Note 10S, which are not available for Indian markets. Meanwhile, the new information claims that these two devices have been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS).

The certification indicates that smartphones will be soon be introduced in the country. Moreover, it is reported that Note 10 5G with model number M2103K19PI has been certified under Poco branding while Note 10S with model number M2101K7BI is certified under Xiaomi itself. As of now, we cannot clarify their marketing names.

Redmi Note 10S

The Redmi Note 10S is very similar to the base model Redmi Note 10. It has a  6.43-inch AMOLED DotDisplay with a 60Hz refresh rate. It equips Snapdragon 720G processor and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charge support.

Moreover, similar to the other Redmi Note 10 models, this handset also runs in the Android 11 based MIUI 12 operating system. Talking about the camera configuration, the device flaunts a 64MP primary camera. It comes along with an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 13MP selfie shooter.

Redmi Note 10 5G

The Redmi Note 10 5G is the only member of the series that lacks an AMOLED screen. Although it comes with a 6.5-inch 1080p LCD display that can refresh at 90Hz and as low as 30Hz when the content doesn’t need it.

It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 processor paired with 4GB/12GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Its camera setup includes a 48MP primary camera, a 2MP depth camera, and another 2MP macro camera. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera.

Moreover, its battery capacity is 5,000mAh that only supports 18W fast charging, slower than the other Note 10 series models. The phone is available in Aurora Green, Chrome Silver, Graphite Gray, and Nighttime Blue.
