New update for Mi Noise Cancelling Headphone Air 2 Pro adds LHDC and low latency mode

Xiaomi Bluetooth headset Air 2 Pro was launched in October last year. They come with features like noise cancellation up to 35dB and up to 28 hours of music playback with the charging case.

Meanwhile, going by the feedback from some netizens, Mi Noise Cancelling Headphone Air 2 Pro has now received a new update, which can be identified by the 3.1.0.8 version. This new update adds LHDC and low latency mode as well as fixes bugs to improve performance.

Moreover, these buds use ceramic touch keys. You can make calls, switch noise reduction modes, play/pause audio, and wake up Xiao Ai by tapping or long-pressing the ceramic back cover of the headset.

The setting interface shows that the LHDC mode of the product provides a high-quality audio experience, and the low-latency mode provides a low-latency experience in the synchronization of the game audio and video.

In terms of configuration, the company claims that the earbuds last for about seven hours at one stretch with ANC turned off. They support wireless charging and can take about one hour to fully charge through wired charging.

The operating distance is listed to be at 10 meters, and they are said to support Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Adding to this, Xiaomi Air 2 Pro also equip an infrared sensor and supports wideband active noise reduction.
