After sending the January 2021 Android security patch for several Redmi, Mi, and Poco devices, Xiaomi is now sending the same for Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphones. This latest update is currently rolling out in India, while it will be sent to more region users in the coming days/hours.

The latest security patch rolling out for Redmi Note 7 Pro improves the system security for users’ enhancement. The changelog does not mention more major changes or features for the device’s system.

The fresh update for Redmi Note 7 Pro holds the Android 10 based MIUI version V12.0.5.0.QFHINXM. And to install it, users will have to download the package of 2.3GB on their handsets.
