Poco F2 will not feature Snapdragon 732G SoC, says Poco India Director

At the end of last year, Poco officially teased the arrival of Poco F2 smartphones. Following the teaser, we have started receiving several news and leaks about this smartphone.

Meanwhile, a recent leak reveals that the Poco F2 will not be a flagship device while will be uncovered as an upper mid-range smartphone that will be powered by Snapdragon 732G SoC.

A couple of days ago, popular tipster and YouTuber Mukul Sharma come with an AMA session along with Anuj Sharma – the Director of POCO India. In the session, he shared some exclusive information about the upcoming Poco F2. During the sitting, the Director revealed that the Poco F2 will not equip Snapdragon 732G.

Other than this, it is yet to be confirmed whether the successor to the legendary Poco F1 will be called Poco F2 or Poco F3. the Director also revealed that the Snapdragon 732G will not power the F-series. This indicates that the Poco F1’s successor could be a flagship SoC.

Also, last month, two laptop batteries with model numbers R15B02W and R14B02W was certified by BIS. These batteries were reportedly listed with Poco branding. Some rumors stated that the Poco brand could attempt into the laptop market soon. However, in the starting few minutes of the AMA session, Anuj confirmed that it was indeed a Poco battery, but it was not a laptop battery.

Moreover, the Director did not mention the specific price range of the POCO F2. While he revealed that the successor of Poco F1 will be priced higher and it is impossible to launch it with the pricing that the F1 carries.
