Previously, before the launch of Mi 11, devices similar to the model M2011K2C had been found in China’s 3C certification. Later, a similar device appeared on Geekbench, codenamed “Venus”.

After the phone launch, Xiaomi released the kernel source code of Mi 11. This shows that the code name of the Chinese variant is “Venus”. It clearly shows that the device with the suffix “G” (probably Global) is Mi 11. To confirm this, the new Geekbench listing also shows a device with an M2011K2G model and “Venus” running Snapdragon 888 SoC, 12GB RAM, and Android 11.

The vice president of Xiaomi Group has shared the official poster on Weibo, confirming the global release of Mi 11. Although Xiaomi has not disclosed the official date, it seems that the deadline is not too far. In any case, the Mi 11 Global variant will be basically the same as the Mi 11 variant sold in China.

The device will come with 6.8-inch 2K display with a resolution of 3200x1400p, a 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 888 chipset with 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB storage.

It is expected that the phone may have blue, black, and white color options on the Global variant. However, we must wait and see, Xiaomi will bring smoky purple, and the khaki leather version is still Lei Jun’s signature version.

For the camera, it will come with a triple camera setup including  108MP f/1.85 of primary camera, ultra-wide is 13MP, the back is 5MP macro, and the front camera is 20MP.

Moreover, the phone will be equipped with a 4600 mAh battery with 55W wired, 50W wireless, 10W reverse wireless charging. It will be pre-installed with Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 out of the box.
