Xiaomi will soon rollout new firmware update for these devices to uninstall Mi Browser App

Back in June 2020, the Indian government has banned a large number of Chinese applications in the region. But some Xiaomi smartphones have already installed some restricted applications.

Now, according to the Xiaomi team, the Indian government has issued a temporary order to block the Mi Browser Pro / Mint Browser application.

Xiaomi has prohibited all online content feeds (including news services and game centers) from complying with this order until further notice from the government.

Although, Xiaomi will soon roll out an MIUI update for a group of smartphones to enable users to uninstall the application to ensure full compliance with government orders. You can view the list of devices that will receive new firmware updates below:
