Xiaomi Mi 9 is receiving a new firmware update for its Chinese variant. This update carries the stable MIUI 12 version V12.0.6.0.QFACNXM. Users will have to download the 3.8GB package to install the latest update on their smartphones.

As per the official changelog, the new update for Mi 9 optimizes the system performance so that users’ can have a better experience. It further improves system security and system stability.
However, this update is based on Android 10 but as we know that Xiaomi is preparing to release the Android 11 based stable MIUI 12 update to several devices including MI 9, it will soon receive a fresh Android 11 update with major new features and optimizations.
