Last year, Xiaomi released Redmi 8A smartphones with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset. It comes with a 6.22-inch display, a waterdrop notch at the top, and Packs a 5000mAh battery.
In addition, the Redmi 8A comes pre-installed with Andriod 9 Pie. The phone sports a single camera at the back that clicks strictly average photos. On the front side of the phone, it has an 8MP selfie camera.

Now, Xiaomi is rolling out a new software update for Redmi 8A smartphones globally. This update brings the latest December 2020 Andriod security patch which is based on Andriod 10 and MIUI 11. The updated Changelog does not include any new feature or change.
