POCO C40 spotted in the BIS India & NBTC Thailand certification

The upcoming POCO C40 smartphone known as Redmi 10C appears to be launching soon in India and globally. Previously, the devices have been spotted on the FCC and IMEI databases.

According to famous tipster @ Mukul Sharma, The smartphone has now been spotted in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) India and National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) Thailand.

According to the latest information, BIS India indicates the model’s number. This includes two model numbers “220333QPG” and “220333QPI“. The “G” in the model number indicates Global and The “I” in the model number indicates the Indian market. It could mean that the phone will be exclusive to the Global market and Indian market.

NBTC has also noted the name of the device as POCO C40, confirming that it is an upcoming POCO smartphone.

The above information hints at to launch date of the device in the Global and Indian markets, The global version of the device was previously listed with the same model number on the FCC and IMEI databases. However, both certifications don’t reveal any information about devices specification.

According to the previous report, POCO C40 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, offering a 6.71-inches HD+ IPS LCD waterdrop panel. The POCO C40 will feature a dual-camera setup, likely a 50-megapixels main + 2-megapixels secondary depth sensor.
