Xiaomi maintained third position with a market share of 14% in Q4 2021: Strategy Analytics
Strategy Analytics released a report saying that in Q4 2021, global smartphone shipments fell by 3% year-on-year to 365 million units. In 2021, the annual smartphone shipments will be 1.36 billion units, an increase of 5% year on year.
Among them, Apple will top the global smartphone market with a 22% market share in Q4 2021. Samsung maintained its No. 1 position throughout 2021.

Moreover, Strategy Analytics said that supply constraints and component shortages continue to affect the smartphone market, which is not expected to ease until the second half of this year.
Furthermore, the reports show that Apple’s iPhone shipments in Q4 2021 will be 80 million units. For all of 2021, Apple will be second with a 17% market share, behind Samsung and ahead of Xiaomi.
In addition, Xiaomi ranked third with 45 million smartphone shipments in Q4 2021. For the full year of 2021, Xiaomi also ranked third with a market share of 14%, up 3 percentage points from its 11% market share in 2020.
