Redmi 10X 5G gets July 2021 security update

Xiaomi is sending a new software update for Redmi 10X 5G smartphones in China. The new firmware mainly installs the July 2021 Android security patch for users’ experience enhancement.

Also, as this is a security update, it will save your device from bugs and viruses as well as will increase the security and stability of your device’s system. Aside from this, the changelog for the update doesn’t mention any new feature of major changes.

Identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.4.0.RJHCNXM, the update weighs 3.0GB. Thus it is recommended that download and install it using an unmetered connection of WiFi.

Well, this update will not harm your data but make sure to backup first, in case of any mishappening. Also, your phone needs to have a battery above 30%, at least.
