Poco X3 GT launched with 120Hz FHD+ display, Dimensity 1100, 5000mAh battery

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has just launched the Poco X3 GT 5G smartphones in Malaysia. The key highlight of the new product is a 120Hz Full HD+ LCD screen, Dimensity 1100 processor, a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charge support, 64MP wide sensor, and MIUI 12.5 on the top of Android 11.

If you don’t know, the Poco X3 GT is rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G that went official in China in May this year. Thus, both the devices share the same specs sheet as well as a similar design.

• Display  

Poco X3 GT displays a 6.6-inch (2400×1080 pixels) Full HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display supports 240Hz touch sampling rate and Adaptive sync variable refresh rate to switch between 120Hz, 90Hz, 60Hz, 50Hz, 48Hz, and 24Hz depending on the content. Also, it has 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

• Processor 

It uses the latest Dimensity 1100 processor, 6nm process technology, ARM Cortex-A78 CPU architecture, and nine-core Mali-G77 GPU architecture, with UFS 3.1 flash memory.

• Software 

The phone runs the newest MIUI 12.5 skin based on Android 11 OS out of the box.

• Battery  

It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging and a battery health management system. the company claims that it can be charged fully within 42 minutes. The device ships with a Xiaomi Mi 67W charger, which supports both USB PD (Power Delivery) and Qualcomm QC (Quick Charge).

• Camera  

For photography and videography, the phone has 64MP wide, 8MP 120° ultra-wide, and 2MP macro cameras on the back. For selfies, it has a 16MP front camera.

• Storage 

It has 8GB RAM in addition to 128GB internal storage and 256GB internal storage.

• Audio 

The phone features Hi-Res-certified JBL-branded dual stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos, 3 microphones, as well an X-axis linear vibration motor.

• Connectivity  

As for connectivity, the smartphone maintains dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC 3.0, and GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GALILEO, GLONASS, QZSS).

Poco X3 GT is available in Stargaze Black, Wave Blue, and Cloud White colors. It will be sold in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Availability will vary from region to region.
