Huawei Mate 50 uses a rear three-camera design, which are a 50-megapixel super-optical camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 12-megapixel 5x optical zoom camera, and a laser focus sensor.

Huawei Mate 50 and 50 Pro’s 50MP main cameras are equipped with high-precision annular magnetic field micro-control motors, which support 10-stop aperture adjustment, from f1.4 to f4.0.
With the variable aperture benefits, Huawei claims that the cameras of the Mate 50 series can achieve sub-millisecond segmentation, making blurring more natural. In addition, in a well-lit scene, reducing the aperture can make the picture sharper.
